<aside> 💡 Wrapped DGLD tokens (wDGLD) on the Ethereum network will be migrated to a native DGLD token on Ethereum. The migration will be completed by the GTSA team via an airdrop. No action is required by you in order to receive the new DGLD token (ERC20).

Last updated: 14th November, 2022

Important Note: Prior to the migration each DGLD and WDGLD token is equal to 1/10th of 1 Troy Oz of gold. Each new DGLDn will be equal to 1 Troy Oz of gold. This means if you hold 1 DGLD or 1 wDGLD token it will be converted into 0.1 DGLD (ERC20), but the amount of gold it represents in Troy Oz will be the same.

The following process will occur:

  1. GTSA will take a snapshot of all wDGLD holder balances as of Monday 28th November, 13:00 UTC.
  2. GTSA will calculate total Oz of gold attributed to each wallet address.
  3. GTSA will airdrop the associated number of DGLDn ERC20 tokens to your wallet address by Monday 28th November, 14:00 UTC.
  4. GTSA will clearly communicate that the wDGLD token will no longer be pegged to LBMA gold.
  5. Once the snapshot has been taken, wDGLD token will no longer be convertible for physical gold. Only DGLD ERC20 tokens will considered a legal owernship of LBMA insured Swiss gold from the point in time that the snapshot is taken. For the avoidance of doubt, the updated DGLD contract can be found here.
